Graduate Journal of Asia-Pacific Studies
The University of Auckland |
The theme for the first
edition is 'Theorising Japanese History'. Contributors have
produced papers on a diverse range of topics, but have retained their
focus on critiquing aspects of the production of history in Japan.
From work on Okinawa to analyses of historiographical method and the
relations between empirical representation and textual representations,
these papers represent a cross-section of work on topics of interest to
students and teachers of Japanese history and culture.
