About
Asia-Studies Humanities
The
humanities
represents an important part of Asian Studies.
Asia-Studies Full-text Online has created a section
of the database service devoted to Asian Humanities.
This is comprised of an infusion of new Asian
Studies Humanities content providers to make the
Humanities section as robust and comprehensive as
the Social Sciences section.
Just as with all Asia-Studies Full-Text
Content, the humanities content is licensed:
- Peer reviewed
journals
- Peer reviewed
e-journals
- Scholarly
institutional publishers
- Working papers
All subscribers to
the Asia-Studies Full-Text database service have
full access to the Asia-Studies Humanities section
as well.
We set up the
highlights section of the original Asia-Studies
database service to enable the service to be used as
a fast browsing tool to stay current, in addition to
the searching and research capabilities. Now, we
offer the browsing capability to those interested in
a fast way to stay abreast of developments in
Asia-Studies Humanities. For searching, all content
from both sections is combined in one database.
The separate sections
are just for browsing. All searches search all
content from both the original social sciences
section and the new Humanities section. They are
indexed together.
Geographic
Coverage
The Humanities
section covers the same 53 countries* as the Social
Sciences section. Coverage is also excellent of the
Pacific Islands from the New Zealand journals.
Subject Coverage
The Humanities
section will focus on the traditional Humanities
aspects of Asian Studies:
- Arts
- Culture
- History
- Language
- Literature
- Philosophy
- Religion
The original section
of Asia-Studies Full-Text online at
www.Asia-Studies.com will now focus on Asian Studies
with respect to the Social Sciences and Economic
issues:
