The Asia Pacific Journal of Arts
& Cultural Management is an initiative of the University of
South Australia’s Arts & Cultural Management Program. The
Editorial committee draws from Asia, Australia, and North
America. The Journal is comprised of refereed research; industry
research that is not refereed; and commissioned articles from
leading industry identities.
The journal aims to support the promotion of a research ethos
within the arts and cultural sector in the Asia Pacific Region.
The Journal also includes articles with a wider perspective e.g.
from authors outside of Australia and the Asia Pacific Region,
if the articles are relevant to the region.
The Journal is registered with the Department of Education,
Science and Training in Australia and is included in the DEST
Register of Refereed Journals. The Journal was launched with a
call for papers in March 2003 and the first edition was released
in December 2003.
